CONTINGENCY/POINT FUND MONEY
To be Determined for 2008 A Note From the Series Director - 5/1/08 The MMRS has roughly $10,000 to start off the 2008 racing season. We have commitments from both DLS and RCS to participate again similar to the inaugural season (2007). Currently I am working on securing a TITLE sponsor for the series. If this works out, this would add another $6,000 to the point fund. As I am writing this, Dempsey Truck Service has made the commitment to the series as the class sponsor at River Cities Speedway. I will know more about the class sponsor at Devils Lake Speedway soon. I am also seeking out many contingency sponsors, corporate sponsors, and associate sponsorships. Much of this may not be ready to release before the start of the season, but I will continue to work and secure these marketing partners throughout the season. My goal is to have roughly $20,000 in cash prizes, along with thousands of contingency prizes. I look forward to another successful season for the series, and would like to keep making the series as attractive for you as a driver and for the many sponsors as a marketing tool.
